A Memory of Light- Reading Part 1

Fuck reactions: it’s ending! It’s finally ending!

If this book wasn’t so flagrantly idiotic when it came to male and female relationships, I’d call it the best series ever. But it isn’t, because apparently in Rand land men and women are two different fucking species, incapable of empathy for two seconds. Ugh. Infuriating.

And of course there’s all the wish fulfillment- Rand gets three sexy wives but the women characters get (at best!) one husband. And of course *everyone* gets fucking married, because how could you be happy without marriage! Despite the men and women admitting they basically hate or do not understand the other gender. (And don’t get me started on trans* or queer people in Rand land.)

Still, I love it. I just have to know how it all ends.

About kylock

Man, biographies are really hard to write because sometimes you just don't know what to write about and then you ramble on pointlessly for a while about your hobbies (video games, reading, programming) and end up boring your readers because they expect something witty and insightful (there are only two ways to save money, neither of which involves hookers) and then readership falls off and you cry yourself to sleep.
