Job Fairs Are Bullshit

This one is going to be short and to the point.

Job Fairs are bullshit. Seriously! You show up and a herded into a room with hundreds of other people, everyone blithely just applying for everything, some of them not even bothering to put on more than a pair of jeans and T-shirt and it hits you: these are the people you are competing with for jobs. And some of them are probably more qualified than you. Not to mention that almost half of the booths setup in the “JOB” fair don’t actually offer jobs. They offer degrees, or information about their services, or hell A FUCKING PRAYER GROUP, but no jobs! Not at the job fair!

Then, of the 50 percent left, 50-60 percent of them tell you go go TO THEIR WEBSITE TO SEE WHAT JOBS THEY HAVE AND APPLY. So you’re telling me you set-up a booth, in a¬† job fair, presumably to help people find jobs or offer jobs and all you tell me is “Go online!” Fuck you.

Ugh.

Man, biographies are really hard to write because sometimes you just don't know what to write about and then you ramble on pointlessly for a while about your hobbies (video games, reading, programming) and end up boring your readers because they expect something witty and insightful (there are only two ways to save money, neither of which involves hookers) and then readership falls off and you cry yourself to sleep.
